Submitted by New Jersey Truck Accident Attorney, Jeffrey Hark

RAHWAY – A tanker truck driver may face charges after crashing into multiple vehicles in a residential area of Rahway.

The crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the truck was heading down West Inman Avenue when the driver lost control, hitting four vehicles. News 12 is told the vehicles are all owned by the same family.

No injuries were reported.

Residents in the area say the intersection of West Inman and Jefferson avenues is dangerous, and multiple accidents have been reported there. They suggest the installation of a traffic light to help bolster safety.

Rahway Mayor Samson Steinman says he will be looking into the safety history of the intersection.
