SAYREVILLE — A crash involving six cars on the Garden State Parkway is causing some northbound delays for the Monday morning commute, according to police.
One car caught fire after a multi-vehicle accident near mile marker 124, briefly closing the two left lanes at about 7:45 a.m., according to New Jersey State Police. The center and right lanes have reopened.
There were no serious injuries.
Traffic is backed up about four miles as the left lane remains closed, police said.
