BLOOMSBURY – A tractor-trailer ended up on its side as it was traveling along the exit 7 on-ramp to westbound Interstate 78 on Wednesday evening.
The accident, reported at 8:20 p.m., happened on the ramp that connects Route 173 with Interstate 78. There is a travel center located off exit 7.
The driver was transported by Pattenburg Rescue Squad to a local hospital, according to those at the scene. No additional information on the drive was available as of Thursday morning.
The on-ramp was closed while the tractor-trailer was righted and the scene cleared. Responding were the New Jersey State Police, Pattenburg Rescue Squad and Bloomsbury Fire Department.
