A Lincoln Town Car fled the scene of a three-vehicle accident Sunday night on Route 80 in Mount Arlington, according to a New Jersey State Police report.
No details were available Monday afternoon regarding the circumstances of the accident, which also involved a Nissan Sentra and a Dodge Caravan. The Caravan was towed from the scene at mile marker 30.5 on eastbound Route 80, according to Trooper Alejandro Goez.
The two occupants of the Sentra were transported by ambulance to St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported among the seven occupants of the Caravan, Goez said.
Because the Town Car left the scene, the accident is being investigated as a hit-and-run, according to Goez.
