DELRAN — A Palmyra woman was killed and two township residents were injured Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle accident on Route 130 involving a school bus.

The accident happened about 8:15 a.m. at Fairview Street when a car driven by Brandi M. Ormsby, 35, of Palmyra, collided with a car in the intersection and then one of the vehicles struck the bus, police said.

Ormsby was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where she died from her injuries.

Two people in the other car — driver Myles A. Russick and passenger Jessica A. Perdunn, both of Delran — also were taken to Cooper with unspecified injuries. Their ages and conditions were not available.

The bus was transporting students to the Delran Intermediate School on Creek Road when it was hit. No injuries to students or the driver were reported, police said.

An investigation is ongoing; no charges have been filed.

Ormsby’s death is the 12th motor vehicle fatality in Burlington County this year and the fifth on Route 130, according to New Jersey State Police records. The other fatal accidents on the highway occurred April 13 in Burlington City, March 17 in Delran, March 9 in Edgewater Park and Feb. 20 in Cinnaminson.
