Massive back-ups on George Washington Bridge from tractor-trailer crash

Submitted by New Jersey Truck Crash Lawyer, Jeffrey Hark

An overturned tractor-trailer on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx has caused a ripple effect into New Jersey, with delays on the New York-bound George Washington Bridge climbing to more than an hour Thursday morning.

As of 8 a.m. delays are about 75 minutes, according to an alert from the Port Authority. A News 12 report said delays have reached 90 minutes.

The Deegan was closed at 167th Street, but now one lane is getting by, 511nj.org said.

Traffic is backed up for multiple miles on both the Route 4 and Interstate 95 approaches to the bridge.
