A man was killed on N.J. route 72 near mile marker 2 in Woodland Township, Burlington County, Sunday morning when his pick-up truck struck a tree, according to New Jersey State Police.

Upon arriving at the scene, police reported the man, who has not been identified, was trapped inside the truck and not breathing.

The accident was later determined to be a fatal.

Police reports indicate the man was alone in the truck and no other cars were involved.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

This is the second fatal accident in Burlington County this weekend, the first occurring on Saturday in Mount Laurel.

A 19-year-old township man was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a tree near Elbo Lane and Periwinkle Drive.
