WOODBRIDGE – An overturned tractor trailer is partially blocking Exit 11 from the New Jersey Turnpike south to the Garden State Parkway.

The truck accident prompted NJ Transit to alert bus commuters around 3:45 p.m. that they could face delays if their bus uses the turnpike south.

New Jersey TurnpikeAs of 4 p.m., back-ups on the southbound Turnpike were reported to Exit 12 in Carteret and some residual delays were also reported on nearby I-277 and Route 440 by the state Department of Transportation. No other details about the accident were available.

The same ramp was the site of a fiery gasoline tanker crash last Tuesday that claimed the life of the driver after the tractor trailer overturned.
