An 89-year-old Orthodox Jewish man from Long Branch, New Jersey, died Sunday in a car accident on the Interstate-95 highway in Baltimore, Maryland State Police said.
Sunday night, at around 11:50pm, police received a call of a motor vehicle collision on the I-95 northbound near mile marker 71.6.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the vehicle, Abraham Fallas, was traveling northbound and for unknown reasons left the roadway to the right crossing into the grass where he struck a tree, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maryland state police are continuing their investigation, and no one has been charged in this incident, a Maryland State Police spokesman told JP.
Misaskim was working with the Medical Examiner’s office to ensure proper handling of the deceased body.
