ATLANTIC CITY — A dump truck crash has closed all lanes on the westbound Atlantic City Expressway Wednesday morning .
The crash near the Atlantic City Convention Center is forcing traffic leaving the city to use either the White Horse Pike or the Black Horse Pike as of 6:20 a.m.
The part of the highway where the crash occurred could be closed for “several hours” due to a hazmat cleanup, the Atlantic City Office of Emergency Management said in a tweet.
An overhead image from Fox 29 shows workers pouring water on a partially scorched truck with its front end is at an angle against a concrete barrier.
New Jersey State Police didn’t immediately provide additional information.
