A serious crash involving a turned-over tractor-trailer took place in New Jersey early Tuesday, according to transportation officials.
The tractor-trailer left the road and ended up in the woods adjacent to the New Jersey Turnpike, according to authorities.
The accident happened in the northbound lanes at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday near Exit 1 for Carneys Point, according to nj511.org.
Chopper 6 HD showed significant damage to the cab of the tractor-trailer, and to a guard rail nearby. There was no immediate confirmation on the number or extent of injuries.
