An SUV and a school bus carrying nearly 40 students to Camden County Technical High School crashed on a Camden County roadway Thursday  morning.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Turnersville and Cross Keys roads in Gloucester Township, New Jersey around 7:30 a.m., officials said.

All 39 students, along with the driver of the bus, had exited the vehicle by the time police had arrived.

Eleven students and the driver of the SUV complained of neck and back pain and were taken to area hospitals for treatment, police said. No one suffered any serious injuries, officials said.

Authorities closed a portion of Cross Keys Road for about an hour while they investigated. The road was reopened around 8:15 a.m.

The crash scene is about two miles away from the Atlantic City Expressway.
