An accident near mile marker 136 caused major delays in both directions on the Garden State Parkway Friday morning.
CRANFORD – A crash on the northbound Garden State Parkway in Cranford has jammed traffic for at least eight miles into Middlesex County, according to state transportation officials.
The crash occurred near milepost 138 around 6 a.m. and has the two right lanes and shoulder blocked as of 7:45 a.m. , according to State Police
Delays stretch past exit 130 in Woodbridge, about six miles away as of 7:10 a.m..
There are also southbound rubbernecking delays, which stretch past exit 137.
