BEDMINSTER – A Bronx, New York man was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark after the dump truck he was driving overturned on Interstate 78 early Wednesday morning, State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams said.
Victor Rodriguez-Esteves, 59, was driving a 2015 Kenworth truck when he lost control and struck a guard rail near mile-marker 32 at 5:45 a.m., Williams said.
Esteves suffered serious injuries, Williams said.
Interstate 78 westbound was closed for three hours.
