NORTH BRUNSWICK – An overturned FedEx truck backed up traffic on Route 1 North in Middlesex County during the Friday evening commute.
The accident happened just before 4 p.m. near the border of North Brunswick and New Brunswick.
Parts of Route 1 were closed for several hours, leading to heavy traffic delays.
The road has since been reopened.
Officials did not immediately say if anyone was hurt in the crash.
