The dump truck driver was traveling on Rt. 206 in Hillsborough when he drove off the road into trees and bushes: police

Hillsborough, NJ – A Somerset man was killed in a single vehicle accident on Route 206 in Hillsborough Tuesday morning, Police report.
Daniel J. Orlik, 59, who was driving a 1997 Volvo Dump Truck on Tuesday, June 21 at 8:28 a.m. failed to negotiate a curve on Route 206 and drove off the road, police reported.
Orlik drove into the Burger King parking lot at 385 Route 206 where he struck several trees and small shrubs.
He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center by the Hillsborough Twp. Rescue Squad Unit 79 where he died, police report.
Hillsborough Police Department is still investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters at 908-369- 4323.
